Odessa A’zion Puts Monochromatic Twist on Oversized Style Trend for Golden Globes Nominee Event

The ‘Marty Supreme’ star isn’t following the rules when it comes to fashion.

Odessa A’zion is the latest celebrity to engage in monochromatic mania, as the I Love LA actress graced The Hollywood Reporter x Spotify Golden Week Nominee Night red carpet on Thursday, Jan. 8, in an all-black ensemble that effortlessly embodied her cool-girl energy.

A’zion’s outfit had more than a few highlights that all worked together to make this ensemble pop off.

First, the oversized blazer jacket. The trend of wearing things larger than one’s silhouette has long proven to be a surefire way to deliver a striking moment. Second, the wide-leg leather pants. This addition was edgy and chic, making her upper half stand out that much more against the shine of the fabric.

Lastly, her accessories were perfectly selected to make the otherwise monochromatic look shine—literally. Black shoes were the obvious choice, but her decision to style the ensemble with a pair of green-tinted shades was inspired. A pleasant pop of color, it’s a breath of fresh air that A’zion doesn’t play by the fashion rulebook. Spontaneous or deliberate, her overall look was truly stellar.

And if the first week of January taught the fashion world anything, it’s that A’zion isn’t going to be the rising style star to sleep on for the remainder of this year. She’s always had a knack for looking marvelous, but her sense of style has taken an entirely new form as of late.

In addition to her most recent monochromatic ensemble, the actress also showed fashion fans that she’s well-versed in the art of metallics. For the 31st Annual Critics Choice Awards, A’zion donned an unforgettable silver gown with dazzling embellishments. From the daring cut-out hole in the center of her outfit to the dramatic sleeves draped at her sides, her red carpet-approved look was certainly one of the best of the night.

Someone who can pull off an effortlessly oversized all-black look and a daringly dazzling silver daydream look in the same week is absolutely someone to keep on the radar. With award season officially underway and her latest project, Marty Supreme, receiving tons of buzz, this certainly won’t be the last the world sees of this star shining on the red carpet.

Should she keep up the momentum, A’zion will be well on her way to being a fashion juggernaut in 2026. Until then, these back-to-back bangers should be more than enough to keep every fashionista satisfied.
