Well, Olandria Carthen continues to prove every single day that this silly sentiment is, in fact, very wrong.

This Love Island USA Season 7 breakout star turned model has been making headlines at events the world over since she exploded onto the style scene last summer. Her fabulous, fashion-forward ensembles are always at the top of our favorites list, and thanks to Milan Fashion Week, we have yet another Carthen look to obsess over today, Feb. 27.

Carthen creates memorable fashion moments in Milan

Captioning her latest photo drop, “Milan called... I answered in Cavalli 🖤🐆” Carthen gave her 2.3 million Instagram followers an up close and personal look at her first ensemble for the European event.

Her designer ensemble was crafted from a semi-sheer, shimmering, floral-patterned black lace that allowed sultry glimpses of skin to peek through. The skirt was cut in a midi style, hugging the model’s figure for a classic hourglass silhouette. And Carthen accessorized the already breathtaking look further with plenty of bling, opting for a statement-making choker alongside a daring gold necklace with a large tooth-like charm—and she didn’t stop there, adding gold earrings and multiple coordinating rings on her hands.

And an outfit this luxurious needed hair and makeup to match. Carthen clearly got this memo, embodying the concept of “blonde ambition” with a change of pace via her cool-toned blonde hair, which was tied back in a messy, 1990s-era Pamela Anderson-style updo, and matching bleached eyebrows. And her glam further complemented these bold choices, with a pop of bright pink on her cheeks and plenty of body glitter ensuring she sparkled on location—both literally and figuratively.
