When it comes to fashion, Olandria Carthen is our reigning queen. The 27-year-old television personality, who appeared on Season 7 of Love Island USA, is an absolute style guru. Whether she’s hitting a red carpet event or putting together an ensemble at the villa, the Alabama native always nails her look.

“Growing up in Alabama helped me develop a special love for dressing well,” Carthen told Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam last fall. “Southern fashion is beautiful—it’s clean, sophisticated, yet still has personality. I love clothes that have a defined silhouette and a statement piece. My beauty lies in the balance between elegance and self-expression—that’s the root of my style.”

Green with envy

Carthen stepped onto the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday, Jan. 11, in this truly head-turning strapless emerald green dress by Christian Siriano. Carthen’s custom gown, in fact, made the top of our best-dressed list from the event.

Garden goddess

Before Sunday’s event, Carthen attended the Golden Eve event put on by the Golden Globes to honor Helen Mirren and Sarah Jessica Parker. For the Jan. 6 event in Beverly Hills, she opted for a truly stunning number adorned with floral appliques.

Plaid princess

One way to command attention when you walk into any room? Opt for a monochromatic aesthetic, as Carthen did with this plaid dress and coat, which she wore to accept the Women in Business Power and Purpose Award at Harvard Business School.

Golden girl

This golden bodycon dress is a true vision, from the high neckline down to the floor-length hem. Accented with strappy heels, Carthen’s sleeveless number is an unforgettable one.

Mauve mama

Anyone else attempting the sheer dress trend can respectfully take a seat. Carthen’s take featured a skirt with a thigh-high slit and feathers. Need we say more?

While attending the 2025 Glamour Women of the Year Awards last November, Carthen lived up to her Bama Barbie nickname in this opulent gown by Christian Siriano. From the color to the cut, everything is perfection.

Cotton candy-inspired

Carthen clearly loves a feathered skirt that shows some leg, and this blue and pink number reminds us of cotton candy skies. Paired with a bold waist cut-out, the model is, as she noted in her Instagram caption of the look, “always serving.”

Red hot

Remember what we said about her ability to rock a sheer garment like no one else? This “freakum dress” was debuted at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards last September—and our collective jaws are still on the floor.

A vision in champagne

We love a matching moment, and Carthen and her beau, Nic Vansteenberghe, were perfectly coordinated in champagne-colored garb for a Love Island USA reunion special last summer.

Citrus burst

A lime green mini dress moment was the perfect choice for Carthen while in New York last August. A coordinated belt cinched her tiny waist, while she accessorized with white pointed-toe pumps and a matching shoulder bag.
