Olandria Carthen Channels Seriously Chic Vintage Style for Valentino Show in Paris

Olandria Carthen is putting her stamp of approval on the vintage fashion revival, and her latest look is all the proof needed to back that claim.

The Love Island USA Season 7 standout is currently strutting her stuff around France, attending various designer shows for Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. She kicked off her designer-focused time abroad on Monday, Jan. 26, with a gorgeous, glittering gold look from Rahul Mishra. The structured piece quickly made headlines for its fabulous flair, and she also debuted an adorable bixie-style hairdo for another radiant look.

Thus, it should come as no surprise that Carthen’s most recent addition to her Paris Fashion Week line-up was just as worthy of applause.

Groovy garments

Attending the Valentino Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2026 show earlier today, Jan. 28, the model wore a unique gown and cropped jacket combo from the designer. The look was pure 1970s chic with a subtle 1990s twist, courtesy of the dramatic cut and eye-popping pattern.

The jacket had lovely long sleeves, while the dress was cut with a daringly dipped neckline and a maxi-style length. The matching fabric showcased an abstract floral pattern, with a palette of vibrant greens, golds, blues and subtle pops of red. The outfit also featured some fun fur detailing around the neckline and hem for even more added texture. When it came to accessories, Carthen opted for gold jewelry, a black handbag and a pair of bright red open-toed heels.

As fabulous as her ensemble was, her hair and makeup only further upped the ante. The model embraced the big hair trend with luxurious layers and a sweeping side part, which sat over a beautifully wispy bang for a 1990s Pamela Anderson-esque moment. Her glam was also next level, with bright pink on her cheeks, a smoky eye and a pearlescent lip bringing the throwback vibes full circle. She also sported plenty of body glitter, adding to the overall luxe feel of the final look.
