Sabrina Carpenter Channels Her Alter Ego With a New Bob for ‘Vogue Italy’ Cover

Sabrina Carpenter just landed her first Vogue Italia cover, and let’s just say, she’s in her full bombshell era.
The 26-year-old pop star stunned on the front of the magazine’s October issue, showing off a sharp new bob, a sultry smirk and a wardrobe straight out of a 1990s glam archive.
The shoot, lensed by legendary photographer Steven Meisel, is a mix of retro pin-up, flirty fashion and classic Carpenter edge. She wears a cropped burgundy short-sleeve Prada sweater with unique metallic detailing in the cover snap, her new hairstyle styled into voluminous, flipped-out ends that scream Cindy Crawford meets Rachel Green.
Carpenter shared the dreamy pics in an Instagram post on Sept. 23, writing, “my first @vogueitalia shot by @stevenmeiselofficial ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ one of my favorite shoots. A special sweet thank you to the best of the best.”
The glam was courtesy of none other than beauty guru Pat McGrath, who gave her a flawless base, dramatic double-winged liner, soft peach blush and a matte taupe lip. Guido Palau is the mastermind behind the Pennsylvania native‘s long bob, which added the perfect vintage twist to the already iconic aesthetic.
One photo shows Carpenter up close, sucking on a lollipop with her cheekbones popping and a million-dollar smile on full display. In another, she wears a fuzzy off-the-shoulder top with micro shorts and a Streets Ahead chain belt, serving coquette meets clubwear with confidence.
The shoot feels like a defining moment in her chart-topping, record-breaking Man’s Best Friend era, which has leaned into a sassier, sultrier energy than her Short n’ Sweet rollout last year. She’s embracing her alter ego, and we’re all here for it.
