Sydney Sweeney has been a longtime ambassador of Laneige, and both the actress and her makeup artist, Melissa Hernandez, swear by the line’s luscious products for perfect skin prep.

As all glam gurus know, the first step to a glowy, luminous and lasting makeup look that will photograph perfectly on a red carpet and stay in pristine condition all night is some juicy, luscious priming products.

Hernandez said adding a “dime-sized” amount of this dewy moisturizer and warming it up in the palm of her hand before pressing it into The White Lotus star’s skin is key for a “hydrating, radiant glow.”

The Anyone But You star stunned in a sultry and strapless web-inspired gown at the Madame Web world premiere in Los Angeles on Feb. 12. Sweeney, who plays Julia Carpenter (also known as Spider-Woman) in the Sony Pictures film, looked truly dazzling in the custom Oscar de la Renta number. And, her glam certainly matched the drama of the outfit. Hernandez opted for Sweeney’s signature glass skin base, with a dash of shimmery eyeshadow, dark winged eyeliner, wispy lashes to make her blue eyes pop and a glossy pink lip.

“To prep Sydney’s skin for [the] Madame Web premiere, I dampened a cotton pad with Cream Skin Toner, $36 and gently pressed it into her skin to soften and moisturize her complexion ahead of makeup application,” Hernandez continued. “As a final skincare step, I applied a healthy layer of Lip Sleeping Mask onto Sydney’s lips. This step is key for smooth, supple lips."
