Last week, Sydney Sweeney arrived to the Los Angeles premiere of her latest film, The Housemaid, in a plunging white gown with a feathered hem, which the actress elevated with a bold cherry red lip. More recently—just one day after the movie’s Dec. 19 release in theaters nationwide—nail artist Zola Ganzorigt showcased a subtle, yet standout, component of Sweeney’s evening ensemble to Instagram: the actress’s chic, shimmering manicure.

Ganzorigt’s work consisted of an almond-shaped set, topped with a neutral polish and chrome powder. While the OPI Global Ambassador did not specify Sweeney’s exacts shades in the post, she has previously credited some of her go-to nude nail hues as “different combinations of three different colors: OPI Bubble Bath, Put it in Neutral and Bare My Soul” in an interview with Vogue.

Sweeney’s seasonal manicure also mirrored a timeless nail trend, “the glazed donut nails,” coined by Ganzorigt and Hailey Bieber in 2022. While the actresses’s set exhibited a lighter, pastel hue to preface the winter months ahead, Bieber opted to sport the similar style in May of 2022 for the Met Gala. However, like Sweeney, the now 29-year-old Rhode founder wore an all-white ensemble with her manicure, which also exhibited dramatic feather detailing on the carpet.

Ganzorigt also did not gatekeep the formula she used on Bieber, if you’re looking to try the style on yourself in the future. In a conversation with Nylon, the artist explained, “The original combination was OPI GelColor Funny Bunny and OPI Chrome Effects in Tin Man Can.”

And whiel OPI chrome powder is only available in salons, Ganzorigt provided an alternative. She continued, “You can use a pearly nail polish and mix it with clear top coat to make it mostly sheer, but with a little bit of shimmer. The sheer base is what makes it look glazed, rather than metallic.”
