Abby Dahlkemper Is a Glowing Goddess in Latest IG Photo Dump

The USWNT defender posted a January recap featuring loads of selfies and dog pics.

Just a few months post-op from back surgery, Abby Dahlkemper is thriving. The U.S. women’s national team defender shared a series of photos to her Instagram on Feb. 1 as a camera roll dump from the previous month.

“Jan recap ✨,” she captioned the carousel post, which featured tons of selfies.

In the first pic, Dahlkemper leaned against a white wall with the sun shining perfectly on her face and light brown eyes. She wore a Madhappy beanie and looked super glowy. The following snap featured the 29-year-old standing in the middle of the Akash Winery and Vineyard. She wore a black mockneck sweater, dark blue jeans and platform boots. Dahlkemper accessorized with a pendant necklace, stacks of rings and black sunglasses.

The third click was a car selfie. The San Diego Wave FC star slicked her hair back and looked out the window, showing off her side profile and several ear piercings. She wore brown sunglasses, a black and green sweater and her healing crystals that she mentioned in a recent TikTok video.

“I’m just hopping on here to give the people a little back update. So I’m two-and-a-half months post-op on my back,” she explained on Jan. 28. “I had a TLIF and L5 S1 fusion. Basically, I was having just like really bad sciatic nerve pain on my left leg all last year. And it turns out that I had a cyst and bone fragments hitting my nerve root, so it was very much needed.”

Dahlkmeper underwent back surgery last November after playing on and off for the entire soccer season. She fractured both her ribs in May. The California native shared the update to note that she was on a speedy road to recovery and her bones were “fusing already.” 

“I’m so excited. I just really can’t wait to like tackle rehab hard, which I have been but [I’m] just biking and doing the underwater treadmill right now. I’m excited to get real cardio in and start lifting and stuff hopefully in the near future,” she continued. “Just wanted to celebrate kind of a small little win with everyone and I have my healing crystals on so that is definitely helping me [with] my spirits.”

The rest of the photos in her IG dump included palm trees, her husband, Aaron Schoenfeld, and their dog, Bobby.
