Aubrey Plaza and Stella McCartney are a match made in heaven. Their chemistry is totally palpable with the actress’s Met Gala gown, which was custom-designed by the fashion house.

The White Lotus star donned a gorgeous metallic floor-length dress, including a one-shoulder double-strap neckline and two large cut-outs around her chest and hip. Each gap in the fabric featured a silver braided rope trim and allowed for Plaza to show off her toned figure.

The gown, hand crafted in McCartney’s London atelier, was inspired “by the life, legendary career and legacy of Karl Lagerfeld,” and was a reinterpretation of a silhouette from the brand’s winter 2023 runway collection.

“she’s the moment,” one fan commented on a joint post between the brand and Plaza.

“Putting the Stella in Stellar ❤️,” another cleverly wrote.

The 38-year-old accessorized with statement teardrop-shaped diamond earrings, a massive ring and a chunky silver bracelet from Effy Jewelry.

Stylist Jessica Paster added a sparkly Falabella clutch, black vegan leather opera gloves and strappy Jimmy Choo heels to the stunning look. Hairstylist Mark Townsend tossed the Parks and Recreation alumna’s dark locks into a high bun, secured with a black bow from Jennifer Behr and left her bangs loose to frame her face.
