Georgina Burke Says She Is Blessed to Work With ‘Small But Mighty’ SI Swimsuit Team

Georgina Burke is getting sappy in her latest Instagram post. The 2023 SI Swimsuit model, who made her debut last year in Barbados, shared a stunning trio of photos from her photo shoot with Ben Watts in Puerto Rico. She thanked her fans for their support and gave a special shout-out to the SI Swimsuit team for making the experience unlike any other modeling gig.

“Wild the support you all show me for being apart of @si_swimsuit wish every model got the chance to be apart of this,” the Burke NYC founder wrote. “There is not to many shoots you walk away from walking on cloud. From having so much positivity come from the team! It’s a small but mighty team who makes this come alive and woweee I’m so blessed to be one of the girls they include 😭.”

The Australian model previously has spoken about the “milestone” impact her SI Swimsuit feature had on her career.

“I was stuck in Montana and they gave me 24 hours to get out to Barbados. So it was kind of cool that I didn’t get to freak out. I didn’t do any crazy diets or anything silly that you think you’d want to do for this shoot,” the 31-year-old explained. “I walked on set and [editor in chief] MJ [Day] was so incredible because she said, ‘If there’s any [suit] you don’t feel like comfortable in, you don’t wear it.’ That doesn’t happen on a shoot. She’s so about the woman feeling empowered and beautiful and confident.”
