Hailey Bieber is celebrating her son Jack Blues’s first birthday with the sweetest tribute—and a rare glimpse into their beautifully low-key world.
The 28-year-old model took to Instagram on Aug. 22 to mark the special milestone with a heartfelt message and a pair of dreamy, intimate snaps taken by longtime collaborator Stevie Dance. “1 year of you my beautiful boy,” she wrote. “Happy 1st Birthday Jack Blues, you are joy personified🩵.”
In the cover photo, Bieber laid on a soft white surface with her baby boy nestled on her chest, both dressed in crisp white. Her eyes were closed in serene happiness, a smile spread across her face as Jack—dressed in a onesie and diaper—rested comfortably on top of his mom. The scene was minimalist, chic and unmistakably Bieber-coded.
The next slide captured the Rhode skincare brand founder cradling him outdoors on a sunny day, gently kissing his forehead with greenery in the background and blue jeans peeking out low on her waist—a classic Bieber style move.
“Happy Birthday to your gorgeous angel 😍😍😍,” Paris Hilton commented.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR FAV LIL GUY 🥹❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Kristy Godso chimed.
“Happy Birthdayyyyyy jackkkkkkyyyy 🥹,” Justine Skye added.
“happy birthday to the most iconic baby that will walk this earth,” Vridhi Patwa gushed.
Jack Blues is Hailey and Justin Bieber’s first child together. The couple revealed their pregnancy last May with a stunning black and white video filmed during their vow renewal ceremony. They welcomed Jack last August and have kept his presence mostly offline, only occasionally sharing select moments of motherhood and family life with fans.
A Vogue cover story earlier this year gave fans a rare look at Bieber’s postpartum journey. “Giving birth was the hardest thing I’ve ever done,” the New York native shared, noting her intense physical and mental preparation throughout pregnancy, which included breathing exercises, yoga, acupuncture and strength training. “I felt stronger physically than I ever had before.”
She candidly added that the months after welcoming Jack Blues were some of her most challenging. “Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I’ve ever gone through in my life, and learning a new version of myself is very difficult,” she said. “And to be doing that all the while going on the internet every day and people being like, ‘They’re getting divorced’ and ‘They’re not happy,’ It is such a mindf---. I cannot even begin to explain it. It’s a crazy life to live.”
