Hannah Godwin, Dylan Barbour of ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Tease 2023 Wedding Date With Gorgeous Photos
Bachelor In Paradise alums and fan-favorites Hannah Godwin and Dylan Barbour are finally getting married! Four years after getting engaged on the final episode of Season 6 in 2019, the couple has decided on a date and location. They announced the exciting news—which obviously sent Bachelor Nation into a frenzy—through a joint Instagram post, and the accompanying photos are absolutely stunning.
“August ’23: 🤵🏻♂️👰🏼♀️” they not-so-subtly captioned the Jan. 30 carousel. Godwin wore a champagne-colored satin mini dress while Barbour opted for blue jeans and a white T-shirt—a perfect representation of their different but complementary aesthetics and personalities that they often share online.
The influencer’s signature blonde locks were slicked back into a half pony and she accessorized with gold hoops, brown sunglasses and of course, her Neil Lane diamond ring.
The post included photos, taken by photographer Kenslie McGuire, of the two hugging, laughing and kissing at the La Valencia Hotel in La Jolla, Calif.
Godwin also shared a TikTok giving more details about the wedding.
“So how do I say this casually? We have a wedding date. Like actually,” she began. “You would think that after being engaged for almost four years I would give myself enough time to like really plan it out [and] be particular, but, you know, it’s happening in six months in August.”
She added that she has turned to TikTok and Pinterest for inspiration and research and hopes that she will end up on “Bride Tok,” meaning her “For You Page” on the platform will consist of the exact type of bride videos she is looking for.
“I’m a bride. How do you accept that you’re a bride like it makes me just feel like old,” she continued. “A part of me is like kind of sad it’s gonna be in six months because [then] it’s like all over—the whole wedding thing—and I want to like enjoy it for longer. But I guess it has been four years.”
Godwin noted that she hasn‘t begun creating a guest list, asking bridesmaids or looking at dresses. The only concrete decision that has been made is the date and venue. As a self-described indecisive person, she doesn’t think she will be a “bridezilla” but is still in the market for any recommendations—photographers, dresses, florals, dos and don’ts—that the TikTok community might have.
“I just want to enjoy the day and feel relaxed. Like you know, when you have a birthday, there’s too much pressure on it and you don’t enjoy it—that’s my biggest fear,” she added. “I want to have fun, hang out with Dylan and just embrace it.”
Godwin said her 1.1 million TikTok followers can expect a lot more bridal content and should speak up in the comments about what they want to see.
“I have no choice but for everything in my life to be wedding [related],” she finished. “I’m going to be filling y’all in.”
