Modeling Icon Elle Macpherson to be Keynote Speaker at 2024 Australian Open Inspirational Series

The industry legend and 10-time SI Swimsuit model is also the successful founder of the Elle Macpherson Inc. empire.

Australian model Elle Macpherson is heading to the 2024 Australian Open as a keynote speaker for the eighth annual AO Inspirational Series. The icon, who is best known for her appearance on the cover of five separate SI Swimsuit issues—the most of any brand model ever—will share her knowledge and skills as a businesswoman and celebrate her success as a model.

The 59-year-old is a global entrepreneur and trailblazer in the wellness field. Macpherson, whose famous nickname “The Body” was coined by Time magazine in 1989, shares her story with the hope of empowering and promoting gender equality in line with the mission of Jan. 25 event, taking place the same day as the women’s singles semi-finals.

“Celebrating and recognizing people’s achievements, particularly those of women, is close to my heart and something I aim to ground every day in practical ways,” Macpherson said. “I’m so looking forward to being at the Australian Open for the first time and being part of this incredibly special AO Inspirational Series. I’m keen to share some of my story as well as checking out some amazing tennis at the women’s semifinals.”

Macpherson shares two sons, Flynn and Cy, with ex-husband Arpad Busson. Her business empire, Elle Macpherson Inc., is home to her wellness brand, WelleCo, as well as a skincare line and lingerie collection.
