Maxim is giving fans what they want: throwback pics from Paige Spiranac’s 2022 Hot 100 cover photo shoot. The golf influencer was named the World’s Sexiest Woman by the magazine last year and became the first athlete to hold the title. The brand shared a few flashback photos on Instagram on May 4.

“No one can prepare you for your life to change overnight and have all these eyes on you and all these opinions and everyone has a comment on everything,” she said at the time of her cover story interview. “People say [I’m] promoting women to show off their assets or to wear less to get more engagement online. My message is wear what you want to wear.”

She added that her personal “dress code” and what she feels most comfortable in, whether playing golf or not, is form-fitting clothing.

“When I began wearing leggings it started a huge uproar,” Spiranac said about being a change-maker. “And now I go to the range and I see so many women wearing leggings.”

The 2018 SI Swimsuit model, who recently turned 30, has grown her social media platform to more than 4.5 million followers across Instagram and Twitter. She’s also the founder of OnlyPaige, a subscription-based platform with VIP access to instructional golf content and exclusive photos (with no nudity) for members only. Fans can join the platform with a monthly or annual subscription.

SI Swimsuit model and 2016 cover star Ashley Graham was honored with this year’s Maxim Hot 100 cover.
