Rob Gronkowski Teases Possible Proposal to Camille Kostek on the Horizon
Rob Gronkowski shared some super exciting news in a recent interview with People. The former Patriots tight end opened up about his almost 10-year relationship with SI Swimsuit model Camille Kostek, and he revealed that they “definitely talk” about getting engaged. The two are in the midst of successful and busy careers right now, so while a proposal is not going to happen immediately, he stated that it’s on the horizon.
“She’s right in the middle of her [career], shooting for Sports Illustrated … and then we got the Super Bowl,” he said, adding that Valentine’s Day as well as Kostek’s 31st birthday are coming up. “Maybe some magic will happen. [It’s] going to have to eventually happen.”
“It is super exciting, she’s wonderful, and we do have some pretty big plans for Valentine’s Day,” he continued. “But also it’s her birthday that week too, so I got two tasks in one, and I got to come through this year.”
The two met back when Kostek also worked for the Patriots as a cheerleader. They first connected at a charity event and Gronk subtly made the first move.
“We were at a charity event in 2013 in November, and he put his number on a cheerleader poster I was signing that day,” Kostek explained. “We were at Goodwill putting turkey baskets together for the less fortunate. I was doing the appearance for the cheerleaders. He was there for the football players. Jermaine Wiggins, an alumni player, brought this poster over and said, ‘Just take this, Rob has his number on there.’ I said, ‘Oh, my gosh, that’s kind of crazy, I’m never gonna call him or else I’ll get fired from the team.’ But then I called him, and I had to keep it a secret for, like, two years—fun fact.”
Gronkowski, 33, told People that they will celebrate their decade-long relationship in November by giving back in honor of how they met.
