Nothing is better than a matching Christmas pajamas moment. Except, of course, when the pair in question are Simone Biles and her husband, NFL safety Jonathan Owens. This year marked the couple’s first Christmas together since tying the knot, and the duo commemorated it accordingly.

In a trio of photos that the Olympic gymnast shared to her Instagram over the holiday weekend, the pair sat together in front of their white Christmas tree and shared a sweet kiss, while donning a pair of red, green and white plaid pajamas. The other two photos featured festive Christmas-themed cocktails (with a candy cane garnish, of course), and the couple exchanging gifts.

“MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎁❤️,” Biles expressed in the caption. “First married Christmas ❤️❤️,” Owens sweetly wrote in the comment section. While much of the comment section was filled with followers making references to the news that her husband didn’t know who she was when they first met, there were a few fans whose merry wishes shone through.

“the cutest. 🤍,” one follower gushed of the duo.

“We love matching PJs!” another said.

“Beautiful couple. Inside and out! 👏🏽,” a follower expressed.

Despite the naysayers, Owens and Biles have had a very loving few months of marriage already, frequently sharing tidbits from their long distance meetups on their social media pages. We look forward to seeing many more matching pajama moments on holidays and in the years to come from this adorable duo.
