Katie Austin is all about living a healthy lifestyle full of activity. The three-time SI Swimsuit model, who was named co-Rookie of 2022 after winning the Swim Search open casting call the prior year, understands there’s nothing wrong with wanting to tone up a little for the summer to look good in tank tops, sundresses and swimsuits.

The fitness influencer shared her favorite arm workout for “sexy, sculpted” summer arms on Instagram earlier this week.

“SAVE THIS WORKOUT TO TRY!!! Try each move for 20 seconds, with no rest. Repeat 3x,” she captioned the post. “Take a full minute or 2 in between each set! I’m using 5 lbs, but anywhere from 2-10 depending on your level works! Sexy shoulders class is going live tomorrow on my program! More full workout classes on the @katieaustinapp 💫.”

The 29-year-old noted that she uses five-pound dumbbells, but you can feel free to choose any weight that works for you.

She began with classic biceps curls and then transitioned to “serve the platter,” a move with her arms held at a 90-degree angle with slight extensions, touching the elbows toward the hips and out to the sides.

After that, Austin “pulsed it out” with her arms held in line with her shoulders as she pulsed up and down a few inches. She then did a round of chest openers to get some rotation in her upper arms and shoulders. Her last two moves were overhead presses and single arm pull-downs.

Doing all six moves for 20 seconds each with no breaks in between completes one set. Austin suggests doing a total of three sets with a full minute of rest between each.
