It’s clear that Megan Thee Stallion has been hitting the gym lately, as the three-time Grammy Award-winning artist has been sharing plenty of fitness content with her social media followers recently.

In a new interview with People, the 28-year-old Texas native opened up further about her journey, in which she discussed prioritizing measures for both her mental and physical wellness. Below, we’ve summarized her core tips so you can, well, train your core just like Megan.

Being disciplined

One thing that helps Megan maintain her physical fitness is simply staying dedicated, no matter where she is at any given time.

“It goes back to being disciplined and determined, even while on the road,” she told the publication. “I work really hard to maintain my fitness routine and stay committed to getting the results I want.”

Maintaining a healthy diet

In addition to sticking to her workout routine, Megan focuses on the nutritional content of what she’s consuming, as well.

“Having a healthy and balanced diet is a huge part of my process,” she added. “I’ve integrated a lot of fruit and vegetables into my meals—I love protein-rich meals and I drink lots of healthy smoothies—so I’m definitely proud of the adjustments I’ve made. It takes a lot of discipline and consistency, but I try to be extra health-conscious with everything I put into my body.”

Whatever she’s doing, it’s clearly motivating her followers to get moving, too. On Megan’s Dec. 5 Instagram post from the gym, fans left comments along the lines of “Meg you just told me to get up and do some crunches without even speaking a word” and “😍😍 *trots to the gym.”
