Lindsey Vonn is getting real in her latest Instagram post. The three-time SI Swimsuit model and retired professional alpine skier shared a candid and honest message about natural bodies and how social media is only a highlight reel.

She posted a powerful duo of photos of herself in the gym wearing a blue tie-dye sports bra and leggings set from Dwayne Johnson’s clothing brand, Project Rock. Vonn’s long blonde locks were pulled back into two french braids and she showed off her toned arms and abs.

“While I love pink and Barbie makes me nostalgic of my youth, the biggest takeaway is that real life isn’t perfect. I work hard, kindness is at my core, I have cellulite, i have wrinkles, I have fallen more times than I can count but I always get back up,” the three-time Olympic medalist captioned the carousel shared with her 2.2 million IG followers. “My flaws are what make me, me. I don’t lead a separate life on social media, what you see here is what you get. So if you ever feel flawed, know that’s what makes you special.”

“You my sweet friend are INSPIRING,” Mary Lou Retton commented.

The 38-year-old made history earlier this year as the first woman to ski the legendary Streif in Kitzbühel, Austria, and the first person to ever complete the course at night. The 82-time World Cup race winner is also a New York Times best-selling author.
