Fitness and wellness leader Melissa Wood-Tepperberg shared some excellent advice for home chefs in a Feb. 6 TikTok.

The 2023 SI Swimsuit rookie filmed herself in her kitchen and offered up what she referred to as one of her “ultimate hacks.” Wood-Tepperberg guaranteed that her tip helps to avoid mindless snacking while cooking and also boosts digestion.

“Have a green juice when you’re cooking,” she advised. “For two reasons: having a green juice before you eat food really helps you optimize digestion and [can] really just cleanse the system.”

Wood-Tepperberg shared that consuming a green juice while you prepare a meal can also help you be more mindful and appreciate your food more.

“Then when you sit down to eat, you’re like so excited and ready for your meal, but you’re not ravenous where you’re just gonna shove it down your face and not taste it and enjoy it,” she offered. “So green juice while cooking is one of my ultimate hacks.”

She captioned her post “a little green juice gets me going in all the right ways 🥒🥬.”

“Love this,” commented one fan, while another wrote, “Great hack! 🥰.”

“What about green tea ?” questioned a follower, while an additional person suggested, “Or a Mocktail🥰.”

Last month Wood-Tepperberg shared her energizing smoothie recipe on Instagram, which she flagged as a great remedy for jet lag. While it’s a smoothie rather than juice, the tasty concoction is packed with good-for-you ingredients like fruit, veggies and coconut water for a dose of hydration.
