Shay Mitchell’s Cheeky New Ad for Her Luggage Brand Has Us Blushing

Is it hot in here or is it just the latest ad for Shay Mitchell’s luggage brand?
For those not in the know, the 38-year-old actress—who is best known for her roles on hit TV shows like Pretty Little Liars and You—is also the founder of the brand BÉIS, which specializes in travel bags and accessories. As such, she also often appears in ads and campaigns for the brand, further depicting just how hands-on she is when it comes to her product.
Over the weekend, Mitchell shared her latest BÉIS ad on Instagram with her 35.4 million followers, and...well, let’s just say we’re all still blushing.
The video clip begins with Mitchell hanging a “Do not disturb” sign on her hotel room door before it cuts to the actress sitting on a plush white bed with a soft white, blue and red patterned headboard.
As the ad continues, the brand founder relaxes against the headboard with a large piece of luggage between her legs. Wearing a cherry red mini dress with a criss-cross neckline featuring a fabric rosette, her outfit is further accessorized with sheer black tights and a pair of slingback black heels. Mitchell then unzips the suitcase to reveal a fabric insert that allows the luggage to stretch out so travelers can fit absolutely all of their items inside without breaking any zippers.
Mitchell then stares right down the barrel of the camera with a subtle smirk on her face as bold black text reading “Everyone loves an extra two inches” appears on the screen.
Needless to say, followers, fans and celebrity pals of Mitchell were pleasantly surprised by the cheeky ad, taking to her comment section to share their praise:
“Best ad ever 🙌🙌🙌😂❤️,” Janice Joostema exclaimed. The internet personality then returned to add, “Brilliant marketing 🙌🙌🙌😂.”

As seen in BÉIS’s many fun and creative ads, Mitchell has been deeply passionate about the brand since launching it back in 2018. And, when it comes to her reason for conceptualizing the company, the actress noted she aimed to create high-quality, affordable products for travelers—the same type of products she always longed for when traveling herself.
“I wanted a line of affordable bags that had all the function I could dream up and look really good at the same time,” Mitchell told Elle back in 2023 when asked why she started the brand. “The price was really important to me because I know how expensive traveling is—I don’t want the bags to break the bank because you should be able to spend that money on the experiences you have.”
