Supermodel Paulina Porizkova won’t allow internet trolls to bully her, and in fact, she recently taught her social media followers an important lesson in kindness.

On Wednesday, the 58-year-old author shared a compilation Instagram pic of rude and nasty comments she recently received on the platform, all of which picked apart her appearance.

“For all the thousands of lovely comments- there are also plenty of these,” Porizkova noted in her caption, adding a few thoughts about how people generally perceive women as they age: “It seems online you’re a smooth youthful woman until you fall of a cliff- and resurface as a crone. That is, the wrinkled white haired bonafide old woman.”

A few days prior, she posted a skin-care routine video and a reel after getting her makeup professionally done, showing off her natural skin without filters.

“There is no actual representation of an aging process,” Porizkova continued. “I suspect this is why these people need to tell me how very old I look. I myself am actually not entirely sure what a woman my age is ‘supposed’ to look like. I only know how I look.”

Tons of her 1.1 million followers were inspired and flooded the comments section with overwhelming support.

“You are perfection, inside and out…my role model and icon 🥰❤️🥰,” Carolyn Murphy gushed.

“This is because people are not used to seeing a real beautiful woman age,” a fan noted. “We are only used to filters, surgeries, and enhancements. Keep being you, millions of women like me appreciate you 🙌.”

“You’re perfect,” Alyssa Milano applauded. “You’re so perfect.”
