Everyone knows that toddlers aren’t the best at keeping secrets, and Serena Williams‘s 5-year-old daughter Olympia is no exception. The 23-time Grand Slam singles champ and her hubby, Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian, shared the news of their pregnancy at the 2023 Met Gala, and they could only tell Olympia just one day before in fear she would let it slip.

Williams shared the most adorable video on YouTube on May 23 of the soon-to-be parents of two telling their daughter she’d soon have a sibling.

“Olympia does not know right now that I am pregnant, but she did call me fat and then she got really stressed out,” the four-time Olympic gold medalist began. “She was like, ‘Mommy, you’re fat.’ I try not to take it personal ‘cause I’m like super into fitness, but I’m like, ‘Am I?’”

In the video, titled “Olympia’s Surprise,” the toddler sat on the couch in between her parents wearing a bright yellow floral matching pajama set.

“Remember how you’ve been praying for a little sister or brother?” the 41-year-old asked. “Well, we went to the doctor, and it turns out I’m not getting fat but I have a baby in my belly.”

Olympia’s jaw dropped, she squealed and immediately hugged her mom.

“Oh my god!” she screamed and began running around and jumping up and down. “I’m so excited! What is happening.”

“Listen, you still gotta help us keep it a secret for one more day, O.K.?” Ohanian added. “After today you can tell everybody but [for now] you can’t tell anybody.”
