Kim Kardashian is no stranger to rocking a daring archival look, and her latest has left fans breathless.

Taking to her Instagram account this week to give her 356 million followers a sneak peek at her latest designer duds, the media mogul posed in an unbelievable Mugler piece that honestly could’ve been plucked right off of a character from The Matrix.

The black, sheer, long-sleeve, high-neck bodysuit was expertly fitted to the superstar’s form, hugging her figure for a jaw-dropping silhouette. Crafted with shiny black boning running vertically from the neckline down, swirling into various curves for a flattering final design, the corset-style garment was tied tight for optimum waist-cinching. There were also matching thigh-high stockings attached to the bottom of the bodysuit by garters, which added further edge to the already incredible ensemble.

Kardashian styled her dark hair in a slicked-back bun for the Instagram photos, with her signature glam also kept to a minimum to let the Mugler piece shine. In the second slide of the carousel, she styled the piece further by sporting a fluffy black fur coat on top, which was similar to how the piece was originally styled on the runway, per the vintage photos she also included towards the end of the set.

“😍,” Chloe Bailey simply wrote in her comment section beneath the photos.

“TEN OUTTA TEN,” Katy Perry exclaimed.

“One of the most iconic Mugler outfits 😭🖤,” model Halessia added.

“🔥🔥🔥This🔥🔥🔥,” Lala Anthony chimed in.

As noted above, this mom, mogul and SI Swimsuit model—having graced the cover of the 2022 issue with a breathtaking photo shoot in the Dominican Republic—is no stranger to rocking vintage or archived designer pieces. For example, Kardashian donned a pair of diamond earrings that once belonged to Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor while walking in the fall 2025 Balenciaga couture show in Paris earlier this month.

But the most famous example of this love for vintage pieces was when Kardashian wore the figure-hugging gown Marilyn Monroe donned to sing “Happy Birthday” to President John F. Kennedy back in 1962, while she attended the Met Gala back in May 2022. The mogul went on record to explain her admiration for the vintage piece and her respect for fashion history as a whole.

“I’m extremely respectful of the dress and what it means to American history. I would never want to sit in it or eat in it or have any risk of any damage to it, and I won’t be wearing the kind of body makeup I usually do. Everything had to be specifically timed, and I had to practice walking up the stairs,” Kardashian said per Vogue at the time. The outlet also noted that the superstar even changed into a replica of the dress for the remainder of the evening for safekeeping, only wearing the original piece for photos on the red carpet.
