Angel Reese Channels ‘First Lady’ Energy in Tailored Designer Suit

Angel Reese has been blessing fans’ social media feeds with plenty of fashion-forward looks over the past few months, but her latest designer ensemble has us uniquely obsessed.
A “First Lady” fashion moment
In case you missed it, the basketball star stopped by Instagram earlier this week to treat her followers to a closer look at a radiant red and white designer set by Versace, writing in the caption, “First Lady 🧡.”
Comprising a collared, button-up top and a fitted, knee-length skirt, the timeless houndstooth pattern gave the set a perfect pre-spring vibe. Meanwhile, the sparkling gold hardware on the buttons and zippers was further accented by the incredible necklace she wore featuring the designer’s iconic logo, as well as her bold statement earrings. She topped everything off with a pair of classic white pumps and a structured tan handbag.
When it came to her hair and makeup, the athlete kept the elegant energy going strong. Her dark tresses were parted down the middle and pulled back into a messy bun with two pieces left out to frame her face. Her glam was glowy and glossy, with light eyeshadows, deep blush and a gorgeous mauve lip tying everything together.
Per the post, the athlete was styled by The Reismans: the brilliant minds behind many of her looks, as well as many recent fashion moments from fellow style star Olandria Carthen. The latter even stopped by the comment section on the Versace look to praise the player, writing “Barbieee😍😍.”

Reese makes Unrivaled return
This week has been an exciting one for the Chicago Sky forward, as she’s slated to make her official return to Unrivaled tonight, Feb. 20. A two-time WNBA All-Star, Reese will rejoin the Rose Basketball Club for a second consecutive season following her inaugural victory as the league’s first Unrivaled Defensive Player of the Year winner in 2025.
As reported by the franchise, “During the inaugural Unrivaled season, Reese led Unrivaled in rebounds per game (12.2 rpg) and led the Rose in blocked shots this year. Reese was the anchor all season for the best scoring defense in Unrivaled, allowing 65.2 points per game.” Her other impressive stats included 13.3 points and 12.4 rebounds per game.
Unrivaled’s 2026 season began back on Jan. 5, and, as of this article’s publication, Rose BC has five wins and six losses. Tonight, they face Hive BC at 8:45 p.m. ET, and you can watch Reese’s return on TNT, truTV and/or HBO Max.
