Soundcheck has never looked so hot.

Dua Lipa just reminded us yet again that she’s not only a pop powerhouse but a fashion icon who knows how to put a daring twist on the classics. The 30-year-old British-Albanian singer showed off her impeccable figure in a silky black backless gown by Chrome Hearts, as part of a behind the scenes carousel from her latest “Radical Optimism Tour” stop in Miami.

“sweaty in soundcheck!!!!! Miami you brought the heat last night ~ SEE YOU FOR ROUND 2 TONIGHT ~ 🔥,” she captioned the carousel of images taken by Madison Phipps, which she shared with her 88 million followers.

Styling

The custom dress featured thin spaghetti straps, a plunging V-neckline and a totally open back that dipped below the waist—emphasizing her slim, sculpted frame and glowing sun-kissed skin. Tiny tonal patterns added texture to the minimal silhouette, while the silky finish caught the stage lights perfectly. Lipa’s long black waves cascaded naturally down her back, bringing effortless contrast to the sultry, skin-baring fit, styled by Lorenzo Posocco.

For glam, the Barbie and Argylle actress kept things dewy and fresh: luminous, rosy cheeks, glossy berry lips, feathered brows and sparkly eyelids that shimmered with every movement. Her luxe finishing touches included a gold Cartier wristwatch, a knotted diamond bracelet and her jaw-dropping engagement ring from fiancé Callum Turner.

Fans react

“The dress!!🖤,” Lilly Keys commented.

“gorgeous girl!!” Lana Ja’Rae exclaimed.

“YASSSSSSS,” Emily Estefan exclaimed.

“OMG OMG OMG THE DRESS THE HAIR THE BEAUTYYY!!!!! 🖤🖤🖤,” one fan gushed.

“She knows she is hot😁🥰,” another declared.

Of course, the look was a sharp departure from Lipa’s on-stage wardrobe, which has included sheer Swarovski-studded minidresses, corseted bodysuits and cutout catsuits from the likes of The Attico, Jean Paul Gaultier and Balenciaga.

And she’s had plenty of practice. From plunging Jacquemus at the Met Gala to metallic chainmail birthday dresses in Ibiza, Lipa has made the backless silhouette part of her signature style. Each variation feels like a fresh reinvention—never repetitive, always risqué. She‘s the reigning queen of the ever-evolving style.

Miami is just one stop on her global tour, which has seen the “Don’t Start Now” and “Break My Heart” singer perform in Australia, New Zealand and Europe earlier this year. Alongside her stage domination, she recently became the cofounder and chief creative officer of Frame Fitness, a buzzy Pilates brand and landed the cover of Harper’s Bazaar.
