Sydney Sweeney’s Latest Red Carpet Look Merges Two Dreamy Fabrics Into One Stunning Style

Sydney Sweeney has returned to the red carpet this month to promote her highly anticipated upcoming biopic, Christy, and her style for the film’s press tour has been a next-level mix of preppy chic, sultry staples and dreamy dresses.
And this past Friday, her red carpet look fell into the latter category, making for a fashion-forward moment that was one part timeless Hollywood glamour, one part Barbie bubblegum princess—and all parts standout style star.
Pretty in pink
While visiting the British Film Institute for the BFI London Film Festival, Sweeney took to the red carpet wearing a truly unique pastel pink gown that merged two beloved fabrics for a one-of-a-kind look.
The piece was crafted with delicate lace details, which provided coverage on her shoulders and neckline before merging with a fitted satin mini dress that doubled as a bodice. The shades of pink meshed together perfectly, and the satin section of the garment also featured boning reminiscent of a corset, adding a daring edge to the otherwise soft overall aesthetic. The bodice remained fitted through the hips to create a classic hourglass silhouette before flaring out with more lace in the skirt for the ultimate balletcore-inspired finish.
Sweeney’s long blonde hair was parted down the center and styled in soft waves that cascaded down her back. Meanwhile, her glam was decidedly subtle, fully embracing the overall light pink tones of the ensemble with dewy skin, rosy cheeks and a mauve lip. She also kept her accessories to a minimum, opting for only a single silver ring on her index finger, allowing the gown to shine.
Sweeney’s eclectic style
As noted above, Sweeney has been on a fashion roll as of late, with the actress sporting multiple different trend-forward looks over the last couple of months for her various red carpets and press engagements.
For her star-studded birthday party back in September, Sweeney sported an incredible intergalactic-inspired mini dress from The Blonds’s Spring 2009 Collection. Then, she donned an all-white take on the popular corpcore trend for her appearance at the Hamptons International Film Festival, but only after she had styled a daring gray pantsuit with midriff-bearing cut-outs for an event with Variety.
And just this past week, the actress embraced the preppier side of traditional fall fashion when she stepped out for a screening of Christy in Los Angeles wearing a gray mini skirt layered beneath a cocoa-brown blazer, a crisp white button-up and matching tan suede boots, combining several of autumn 2025’s hottest trends into one fun final look.
With her film releasing Nov. 7, fans can definitely expect to see more great style moments from the star as she continues her press tour—and needless to say, we can’t wait to see what trend she embraces next.
