All signs indicate that red is the color of the season, and its come time for some of our favorite fashionable influencers to start putting their own spins on the fiery shade. Ellie Thumann took the chance to do just that on her first trip of the fall season, bringing all of her best seasonal outfits to Napa County for an idyllic weekend in wine country.

The 21-year-old donned a monochromatic look for an evening in the valley, pairing a light brown mini skirt with a rust-colored silk top and brown boots. While we loved every part of the Arizona native’s style, we were particularly enamored with her top, which—in addition to being a brown-hued and moodier version of a deep red—was silky and flowy with the sweetest tie-front detailing.

“hello fall 🍂🍁 ,” Thumann aptly captioned the short clip of the outfit that she shared on her TikTok. The social media influencer left her slightly wavy dirty blonde hair down for the night and opted for a minimal face of makeup. Other than her usual gold key necklace, she went without accessories.

While perhaps not red in the truest sense of the word, the top contained hints of the seasonal hue combined with a moodier brown color fit for autumn. The silky red rust top made for the perfect complement to the other browns in her outfit, and the whole look was ideal for a brisk California fall evening.
