Haley Kalil, Tunde Oyeneyin and More Defy Gravity—and Fashion Rules—at ‘Wicked: For Good’ Premiere

Have you been changed for good? We know we have, especially after viewing the incredible outfits all the celebrities who attended the New York premiere of Wicked: For Good on Monday, Nov. 17.
The stars dressed up in fabulous garments, some paying homage to the aesthetics of the box office hit and others just bringing their fashion A-game to slay the red carpet. No matter the theme, there’s no doubt that these fashionistas gave the camera striking ensembles to marvel at.
From Ariana Grande and Haley Kalil to Cynthia Erivo and Tunde Oyeneyin, the fashion world certainly had a feast of stylish outfits to dive into. Here are just a few of our fave looks from the famous faces who ruled the red carpet.
Ariana Grande
A princess in every single way, Grande was the belle of the ball. Her gown embodied elegance and opulence, with the top half consisting of a black sweetheart neckline bodice and the bottom half featuring a grand and heavenly light pink skirt. Together, they blended into a wonderful duo.
Cynthia Erivo
The only thing wicked about Erivo is her wicked stylistic skills. This statement was proven with the all-black ensemble she sported for the NY premiere. The leather top featured black feathers to create a daring silhouette. From there, the piece’s sleek design spread into a mesmerizing frock that trails gallantly behind the star.
Emira D’Spain
If no one got the memo that D’Spain is that girl yet, let this serve as a reminder. The model was a vision in her gorgeous pastel light pink wrap. The flowers and feathers decorated throughout the accessory were showstopping. However, the real star of the show was her silver mini dress with the boning cleverly displayed throughout. She also earned bonus points for her pretty butterfly strap-up heels.
Haley Kalil
Kalil took iridescent to a whole new level, her shimmer luminous underneath the New York evening sky. The shine reflected on her dress made a masterpiece of blue, pink and purple. Even more praise was warranted for the one-sleeve design of the garment, as it took the piece up a delightful notch.
Kamie Crawford
You can never go wrong with a bodycon dress, especially when it’s as ravishing as Crawford’s. Her glistening forest green number captured the essence of modern fashion and really showcased how one can bring current trends to the red carpet in a flashy manner. It’s sultry, smoldering and all around stunning.
Marissa Bode
Bode made a strong case for why satin isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. The material can always offer an effortlessly divine moment, no matter the outfit. Her dark green apparel was just what this red carpet needed—a head-turning and chic dress with a daring neckline. Pointed edges plus a dramatic deep plunge equalled a captivating moment.
Remi Bader
Following the fad of forest green, Bader’s charming standout encapsulated all the things to adore about this bold hue. After the romantic black lace, the green fabric cascaded down the length of the celebrity’s body, resulting in a flowy hem that barely drapes the carpet. The sleeves of the piece matched the bottom, which was a good call to showcase even more of the perfect pigment.
Tunde Oyeneyin
A dress with personality always receives stamps of approval in our style book, and Oyeneyin shows exactly why that is. At first glance, her lime green ensemble was a form-fitting piece with eye-catching sleeves. However, once she extended her arms, all eyes were met with a sea of neon green. Talk about making an entrance and commanding the room!
