Dancing with the Stars’ upcoming “Prince Night” may feel like familiar territory for one of its six semifinalists, Jordan Chiles, despite her limited experience in the ballroom.

As fate would have it, the athlete previously performed a routine set to a track by the pop legend during a collegiate floor routine with her UCLA gymnastics squad in February. Perhaps her prior scoring on the number will serve as a predictor for her duo of dances on Tuesday, Nov. 18.

Yesterday, Nov. 13, UCLA gymnastics resurfaced Chiles’s February performance on Instagram. Repping cobalt blue, the two-time Olympic medalist performed her floor routine to the music of the pop icon and notched a perfect 10 following its competition. Per the team’s site, the scoring earned Chiles her fifth perfect 10 in her fourth season with the franchise. It also propelled the Bruins to a 197.300-197.200 victory over the Michigan State Spartans.

“She got perfect 10s on her Prince routine and she’s about to get perfect 10s on her DWTS Prince dances!! She’s absolutely incredible 🔥!” one fan predicted in the comments of the team’s post.

“I absolutely love the way y’all support her ❤️❤️❤️,” another fan beamed.

“If your circle dont cheer you on like this I dont want it. 🔥🔥 Absolutely out of this world,” another user agreed.

Next week, Chiles and her partner Ezra Sosa will perform a Jive to Prince’s “Raspberry Beret” along with an Argentine Tango to “U Got the Look.” The Tuesday night show, which airs at 8 p.m. ET on Hulu and Disney+, marks the first episode of the season where the remaining six pairs will perform a duo of individual routines together.

For the last three weeks, celebrity contestants have participated in bonus dances, beginning with the Dance Monsterthon for ”Halloween Night.” Hosts Julianna Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro hit the dance floor for team routines in the following episode, and previous Mirror Ball Champions returned to the show for Relay Dances during the series’s 20th Birthday Party. Chiles consistently excelled in all three challenges, earning bonus points every week.

Last week’s leaderboard, however, had Chiles sitting comfortably in third place. Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas, Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach and Robert Irwin and Whitney Carson each scored a 42/40 to snag a tied top spot. Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy notched second place with a 40/40 score, barely edging out Chiles and Sosa, who finished the night with a 39/40.

We’ll see if the tables turn next Tuesday. In the meantime, if you’re looking for a full rundown of Chiles’ Week 9 performances and scores—along with the fellow Olympian she linked up with on the ballroom floor—we’ve got you covered here!
