The model’s New York Fashion Week looks did not disappoint.

There have been plenty of looks throughout New York Fashion Week fit for fall style inspiration, but perhaps none so good as Jasmine Sanders’s attire for the Retrofête fashion show.

The model has sported several high-fashion, yet achievable looks recently, but our favorite was certainly the neutrals she wore to witness the contemporary brand’s runway show. Sanders’s outfit was composed of low-waisted cargo-style tan leather pants and a sequined cowl-neck backless top. She rounded out the look with a pair of neutral high heels.

Sanders styled her characteristically blonde curls to one side for the occasion and sported a face of makeup that included a soft pink lip.

There’s something about a good set of neutrals that scream the start of fall—and the SI Swimsuit star’s outfit proved the notion to be true. The tan-and-gold worked well together and truly felt fit for the beginning of September and the commencement of autumn. Moreover, she proved that elegance doesn’t have to be over the top, and a simple, effortless look is often the best option.

Several of her other outfits throughout NYFW have spoken to the same simple elegance, including the outfit she wore to attend the Stella McCartney celebration on Sept. 8. For the event, she donned a pair of baggy jeans with a simple white baby tee and a brown leather jacket—the makings of another great fall outfit.

Whether you’re more inclined to copy her more elevated looks or more casual styles, one thing is certain: Sanders is a style icon to be emulated.
