While red is the trending color of the season, its slightly darker cousin cherry mocha is all the rage when it comes to manicures of the moment. You may have seen the hue trending on TikTok recently, and it has even made its way to the fingertips of superstars like Jennifer Lopez.

What color is cherry mocha?

The cutesy name basically indicates a deep maroon color that’s got a touch of dark brown to it. You may have also heard the shade referred to as red wine, oxblood or even mahogany when its trended during other seasons.

How to achieve cherry mocha nails

It’s simple to achieve the trendy cherry mocha look at home. Lopez’s nail artist, Tom Bachik, recently shared the exact nail polish he used on the “Jenny From the Block” singer, and it’s available for less than $12 on Amazon.

The nail polish brand is known for its long-lasting staying power, with smooth and streak-free application. Essie is one of my personal go-tos for at-home manicures, and typically lasts at least a week without chipping.
