Kristin Juszczyk’s First Look of the NFL Season Sets the Standard for Sideline Style

The San Francisco 49ers kicked off their regular season with a W, defeating the Seattle Seahawks 17-13 in an away matchup on Sunday. But they weren’t the only ones scoring big at Lumen Field.
Kristin Juszczyk, co-founder of the sporting apparel brand, Off Season—alongside Emma Grede— debuted her first creation of the regular season while cheering on her husband, 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk.

The 31-year-old transformed a gray crewneck sweatshirt into an ultra-cropped off-the-shoulder top and utilized the excess fabric on the waistline of her denim shorts. She finished off the ’fit with gold jewelry—including a chunky chain necklace, large hoops and a stack of bangles—along with red strappy pumps, and posted her look to Instagram on Sunday.

“Popped off on week 1!” Juszczyk’s husband beamed in the post’s comments.
“now that’s how you start the season!” a fan penned, coupled with a trio of emojis.
“Ok you need to extend your clothes to all teams. I need Jets gear!!!!” one user implored. Currently, Off Season provides apparel for six NFL franchises: the Buffalo Bills, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. However, Juszczyk replied with a two-word message that caught our attention: “Coming sooooon 👀.”
All about Off Season
Off Season launched in January, and in its nine months on the market, has already extended its reign beyond the professional football league.
“Fans are the heartbeat of sports culture—they bring the energy, loyalty and passion that makes it all so special,” Juszczyk told SI Swimsuit. “Designing for them means creating something that not only reflects their team pride but also empowers them to express themselves in a fresh, authentic way [...] Fashion allows people to make their fandom their own.”
In July, Off Season released their NFL Ready-To-Wear line—which includes graphic tees, cargo shorts, among others. By September, the brand introduced its first collection with the WNBA.
“Designing this collection for the WNBA has been such an incredibly empowering experience,” Juszczyk stated in a release, two weeks before the collaboration went live on Sept. 4. “I wanted every piece to reflect the strength, power, creativity and energy that women’s sports bring to the culture.”
And, there are no signs of the designer slowing down anytime soon. In fact, she has her eyes on the sky. She tells us that the “ultimate vision [of Off Season] is to create a brand that resonates with athletes, fans and people who love the culture of sport, no matter what team they support or what sport they follow.”
