Millie Bobby Brown Channels Gothic Era Vibes for ‘Stranger Things’ UK Screening

Millie Bobbie Brown’s red carpet look at the Stranger Things premiere in London was absolutely sickening. At the special UK screening for the final season of the smash-hit Netflix original series, the actress showed why Halloween isn’t the only time of the year to dust off those dark romance garbs.

Styling & Glam

Her outfit comprised an utterly gorgeous and clever imagining of a corset, skirt and train trio. The corset had a unique shape at its neckline, almost as if it were an upside-down sweetheart. From here, the piece spread into a body-hugging corset before finishing off into an elaborate display of black tulle. The material created the illusion of an asymmetrical mini skirt, which then concluded with a dramatic train on her side.

This ensemble from Ashi Studio’s Fall/Winter 2025-2026 collection scored extra points for the white tulle at the very bottom, which made it seem as if the skirt was floating. A couple more points for her black tights and pointed black shoes, since they allowed this entire look to flourish even more.

A red carpet clap back

Brown was an enchanting vision at the red carpet event, dominating in both fashion and face. However, that's not the only thing she dominated, as she also swiftly put some heckling photographers in their place.

Amid posing for snaps at the premiere, the 21-year-old actress was commanded to smile by someone in the crowd. She quickly quipped back, “Smile? You smile!” before walking away, refusing to engage further.

The moment went viral on social media, with fans applauding Brown for standing up for herself, especially in a society where women are often told to smile as a means of putting them down. To some, it was an incredible showing of how women can demand the respect they deserve.

“Millie telling the paparazzi to smile instead because they kept yelling at her to smile was so gaggy,“ one fan wrote in the comment section under the clip.

“Peak unbothered menace energy. She didn’t just respond—she feasted,” another fan wrote.

“The walk off is lowkey the best part in this angle- she really exited stage left and walked off like she’s got some errands to run,” another added.

“We know Chappell took over,” another joked, referring to the moment singer Chappell Roan confronted a disrespectful photographer back in September 2024 on the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet.
