Millie Bobby Brown Shares BTS Clips From ‘Stranger Things’ Final Season in New Post

Well, it’s official: the final season of Stranger Things is upon us.
Netflix’s runaway hit show, which premiered back in 2016 (seriously, where does time go?!), released its first batch of new episodes for the highly anticipated finale season over the Thanksgiving holiday. While it’s only been a few days since the episodes became available to stream, fans haven’t been able to get enough of their favorite characters, and the season is already “Certified Fresh” on Rotten Tomatoes, with a current critic’s score of 84% at the time of this article’s publication.
Before the next run of episodes is released at the end of December, Eleven herself—Millie Bobby Brown—is sharing some behind the scenes looks at the making of the finale season, as well as a peek into her life as a new mom.
Living the “Life of a Showgirl”
For her latest Instagram photo drop—aptly captioned “the life of a showgirl” by the self-proclaimed “hardcore” Swiftie—the actress shared two short video clips of stunts gone slightly wrong during the season.
In the first quick clip, Brown was seen rolling under a bit of barbed wire before accidentally smacking her head on a wooden pole and flinching. In the next short clip, she ran across a junkyard before appearing to trip and fall, humorously turning it into an action-hero-esque roll instead. In both clips, Brown’s character was decked out in a layered gray collared top complete with red shorts and a headband, which Amy Parris—the show’s costume designer—has since confirmed was inspired by Josh Brolin’s chaotic look in the beloved 1980s classic The Goonies, according to an exclusive by The New York Post.
Still, that peek behind the scenes of the show wasn’t the only newness the actress shared with fans. In another photo featured in the 10-photo carousel, Brown posed with her husband, Jake Bongiovi, and their daughter for an intimate black and white snapshot, with their baby girl hidden between them. Then, in another photo, Brown cradled her baby girl outside while standing on vibrant grass near a serene-looking pool.
Saying goodbye to Eleven
For Brown’s part, the show ending appears to be bittersweet, as the actress has been celebrating the end of this incredible era while also saying goodbye to the character who kicked off her career.
In a separate Instagram post shared last week, Brown included a sweet message about her experience playing Eleven and what it has meant to her, writing, “this show has given me so much. but most importantly, the most meaningful story to tell, el’s. thank you to the duffers for taking a chance on everything you shouldn’t have wanted, a british girl, with a huge family, a lot of energy, a strong point of view, but a heart that would work tirelessly for the character you built. enjoy volume 1 folks. see you on the right side up 🆘.”
As mentioned above, the first four episodes of the finale season were released on Netflix on Nov. 26, with the next three episodes arriving on the streaming platform on Dec. 25 before the series finale premieres Dec. 31.
