Olandria Carthen Embraces Y2K Energy in Vintage Designer Look for Cardi B Concert

Another day, another Olandria Carthen look that made us gasp in excitement.

The Love Island USA Season 7 breakout star turned model has been all over our fashion feeds recently, and it’s not difficult to see why. From her radiant red carpet moments to her haute couture styles to her laidback looks at the Super Bowl and All-Star Celebrity Game, Carthen has quickly become a style star to watch week after week.

And this week was no exception, as the model attended Cardi B’s recent tour stop in a coordinating look that had us running for our millennial fashion moodboards.

Hooray for Y2K

“Woke up & i’m still in the lead💋,” the caption under the new 20-photo carousel read. Posted on Thursday, Feb. 18, Carthen posed for the cover image wearing a vintage Roberto Cavalli set, comprising an intricately embroidered crop top and a matching pair of low-rise leather pants. Both pieces featured a daring dragon design, with deep greens and bright oranges contrasting beautifully against the dark leather.

And the Y2K vibes didn’t stop with just her outfit! The model also evoked the early 2000s with her hair and makeup. Her dark tresses were sleek and straight, swept into a classic half-up, half-down style, a wispy bang the perfect final touch. Meanwhile, her makeup was a dramatic mix of smoky eyes, warm blush and glossy lips. For accessories, Carthen majorly mixed things up, centering a silver septum ring and a small, sparkling stud on her nose.

Still, the look itself wasn’t the only standout moment from the massive new collection of photos, with the model taking fans along for her night out with friends to enjoy the rapper’s show. In one snapshot, Carthen even posed with Cardi B, as well as several other familiar faces, including Normani, Jordan Chiles, Victoria Monét and Niecy Nash.
