Olivia Culpo always looks glam, but the four-time SI Swimsuit model really hit it out of the park with an ensemble for the Cannes Film Festival. The 31-year-old reality TV star rocked a vintage strapless black Chanel gown from the designer’s fall-winter 1991 collection.

The impressive number featured a button-up bodice and a layered tulle skirt on the lower half. Micaela Erlanger, Culpo’s stylist, paired the dress with minimal jewelry, including a diamond bracelet and statement earrings, and open-toed black heels. Culpo showed off her full look with a collage of Instagram photos on Saturday.

“Until next time Cannes 🌟 FW 1991 @chanelofficial @shrimptoncouture📸 @gabrielccorreia,” the 2020 SI Swimsuit Issue cover model wrote in her caption.

Vintage expert and Shrimpton Couture founder Cherie Balch dove into the history of the gown in her own Instagram post. “Thank you Olivia and [Erlanger] for showing us that great design does indeed stand up to time and can look even better as the world catches up to what was once considered radical and almost scandalous design 🖤,” she wrote.

Culpo’s friends and fans were floored by her timeless designer ensemble.

“Wow,” 2023 SI Swimsuit Issue cover model Brooks Nader wrote in the comments.

“Stunner,” Kristin Cavallari applauded.

“This dress was MEANT for you to wear! It is beyond how I thought it would be on you! So happy you loved it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” Balch added.
