Olivia Dunne Is Asking for New Girlfriends, and the Internet Is Delivering

Olivia Dunne took to TikTok to put out a call to action for an “official friendship application,” and it didn’t take very long before the post’s comment section began to flood.

The 23-year-old retired gymnast posted a brief clip to her 8 million followers on the app over the weekend. In the video, Dunne declared that she was looking for more female friends in the Sunshine State. SI reported that she purchased a home in Jupiter, Fla., in early October.

“If any of you girlies like a wine night, that’s crazy; I love a wine night!” the athlete gushed on the app. In the clip, she sported a classic white tank and tossed her icy blonde hair into a half-up, half-down style. Then, Dunne listed more potential future activities, such as “midnight swimming,” as she panned the camera around for a peak at her inground pool.

“Walking around Home Goods is a must,” the model also added. “And I live right by the beach. So come over, we can go to the beach whenever.” The New Jersey native’s Florida home marks her second property that she has recently purchased after her five-year stint on the LSU gymnastics team came to a close in April. Per the New York Post, Dunne bought a $1.95 million apartment in Manhattan’s West Village earlier this month.

“girl call me,” fellow SI Swimsuit model, XANDRA, penned on the post. The duo linked in New York City in May to celebrate the launch of the magazine’s latest edition, where Dunne rang in her third-straight feature and the Miami-based DJ claimed her second. Then, at the end of the month, they flew down to the W South Beach in Miami to walk in the brand’s annual runway show before traveling back to LSU together for a football game in September.

“I’m on my way,” Olivia Ponton also chimed in. Ponton graced the fold in 2022 and 2023, from Montenegro and Dominica, respectively. Her most recent brand appearance aligned with Dunne’s own rookie campaign in Puerto Rico.

“Ugh fine you pulled my leg. I’ll bring the wine,” one commenter playfully joked. Another chimed in, “as a south florida girl myself consider this my application.” The TikTok video has only been online for one day, at the time of publish, and has already accumulated 2,000 comments and counting.
