Selena Gomez celebrated Rare Beauty’s newest product, the Warm Wishes Soft Matte Powder Bronzer, with a chic manicure to match. The bronzer, which launched today, Jan. 15, comes in seven shades. Meanwhile, the founder of the beauty label donned a custom manicure color combination of her own while in attendance at its launch party to celebrate the drop.

Luckily for us, the artist behind Gomez’s shiny manicure, Tom Bachik, posted how he created the dreamy, neutral nail shade. “BRONZE Mani 🤎✨,” Bachik penned to Instagram yesterday, Jan. 14, with a singular snap of the “In the Dark” singer’s nails in full view. The longtime nail artist of fellow notable names like Jennifer Lopez and Hailee Steinfeld shared that he constructed Gomez’s color using two polishes from Aprés Nail.

To start, Bachik revealed that he used just one coat of the label’s “Aprés Gel Couleur” in the shade SERENGETI PLAINS. The color is a cool-toned chocolate brown and is currently on the market for $14.99. Overtop, he added hue from the brand's “Astral Gel Couleur” collection called THE SUN ($14.99). In contrast to the solid, opaque hue of SERENGETI PLAINS, THE SUN features a sheer, yet buildable formula filled with reflective sparkle.

Fans of Bachik’s art headed to the comments of his post to give the look some love, with one user penning, “Omggg she looks stunning!! Beautiful nails 💅.” Another commenter expressed a similar sentiment and gushed,“you neverrrr disappoint omg!!”

Plus, Bachik provided some great nail advice in a February interview with New Beauty for those looking to give their own nail art a shot. He told the publication that actually, the brilliance of a well-done manicure begins before you start applying your polish.

“You can have great nail polish or amazing art, but if the manicure isn’t meticulous, it looks incomplete or unfinished,” Bachik explained to the outlet. “The right tools will give you the quality and precision needed to make doing your manicure easier and safer.” In his Instagram post from Wednesday, Bachik credited Tweezerman as the label behind Gomez’s “meticulous nail base.”

Nail products from longtime favorite of the artist—who collaborated with the brand for its Ultimate Nail Care Set in 2022 and Nail Care Travel Set the year after—can be found on the brand’s official site or at retailers such as Ulta Beauty, Amazon and Target.
