Shay Mitchell’s Chic Day Out Look Is the Perfect Early Fall Outfit—and It’s So Easy to Duplicate

As Paris Fashion Week neared its end earlier this week, the Pretty Little Liars actress posted a plethora of frames from her time in the nation’s capital to Instagram.

Amidst the festivities, she attended the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2026 show while repping an edgy, textured mini dress—and gave her flowers to the artistic director of women’s collections, Nicolas Ghesquière. “your storytelling through fashion never ceases to inspire,” the 38-year-old complimented the brand and its French designer.

In the candid collection of snaps shared to her grid, Mitchell brought her followers along on a “Tour de France”—from casually chowing on noodles while above the clouds to strolling the streets of the city. For the latter, which was displayed on her third slide, the BÉIS founder’s outfit was not only super fall-coded but featured a simple formula to recreate with pieces likely already in your own wardrobe.

Here’s how to score Mitchell’s look: first, grab your favorite solid-colored basic top—she opted for a V-neck white tank that showed some skin in her middrift. Then, pair the garment with a maxi skirt. The bottoms don’t have to be elaborate; in fact, we’d recommend sticking with a singular shade, like the actress’s heather gray, to parallel her own ensemble. The star of the show is a statement outerwear piece—and for Mitchell, it was an oversized taupe leather jacket.

Still, the best part about the multi-hyphenate’s formula is that it doesn’t need to be strictly followed to create similar striking results. Swap out the leather jacket for a suede jacket or trade the tank for a long-sleeve top when the sun’s away.
