The former SI Swimsuit Issue cover girl isn’t the only model giving sporty styles a moment this fall.

Yumi Nu is the latest SI Swimsuit model putting a chic spin on sporty apparel—and her look seamlessly showcases the versatility of athleisure. In an Instagram post shared on Friday morning, Nov. 7, the model debuted a multicolored ensemble that paired a comfy fall staple with a couple of form-fitting activewear pieces.

“oh to be a 🐿️ with a 🍓 in Central Park,” Nu began her carousel’s caption. Among its seven frames, the four-time SI Swimsuit model—who scored a cover with the brand in 2022—candidly posed on a Manhattan park bench before relocating to a breakfast spot, where she chowed on a stack of pancakes and a side of berries.

Nu’s outfit for her daytime endeavor was all about the layers. In the post’s comments, the model revealed that she scored her baby pink duo from athletic apparel label 437. Upon a glance at its site, she seemed to pair its Halter Tank ($85) with its Essentials Leggings ($95), if you’re looking to twin with the 29-year old.

Overtop, the model repped a long-sleeve ivory wrap top—which appears to be label’s Ballet Wrap ($95)— and kept warm with a fur-trimmed Charlotte Simone coat in a rich brown shade. She credited the jacked on her Instagram Story. For her footwear, Nu kept warm with sherpa-lined boots—which closely resembled Classic Short Uggs ($190)—over ribbed socks and finished the look with a pair of oversized specs.

The former SI Swimsuit cover girl—who traveled to Tampa, Fla., Montenegro, Dominica and Belize during her consecutive four-year stint with the brand—isn’t the only brand model who is giving athleisure their stamp of approval this fall. Before the season began, Lori Harvey repped a monochromatic OnForm set from Spanx, she disclosed, on an mid-month stroll. She shared the look, which the entrepreneur completed with oversized matching sunnies, to her 4.8 million Instagram followers on Sept. 12.

Ten days later, Nicole Williams English—who posed in Dominica for her 2023 rookie campaign, before stints in Mexico (2024) and Jamaica (2025)—donned a matching set from Alo for her own Instagram feed. Her olive green number paired an ultra cropped tee with matching capris, and both garments were adorned with branded trim.

Then, when the calendar changed to October, Ellie Thumann showcased a number of sport-chic looks to her own page. In an Oct. 14 carousel consisting of 14 frames, the three-time SI Swimsuit model exhibited a number of athletic combos, which featured a graphic Tommy Hilfiger long sleeve, chunky charcoal cardigan and solid black capris as statement pieces.
