2023 SI Swimsuit Rookie Melissa Wood-Tepperberg Recalls Her Magical Rainbow Moment While on Location in Dominica

Melissa Wood-Tepperberg is always working on empowering her followers to be the best possible version of themselves. She’s also constantly searching for powerful and symbolic moments in her own daily life. As the 2023 SI Swimsuit rookie reflected on her exciting and memorable debut photo shoot with the magazine and photographer Yu Tsai in Dominica, there is one special moment that stood out to her.
“Picture this: it’s towards the end of the day after shooting what I believe was 12 incredible looks overall and I was still trying to stop and take it all in…AND then I looked up and there was a freaking a rainbow,” she wrote on Instagram alongside an absolutely stunning photo of herself laying on her side on the shore. “A real life rainbow (and I was in a rainbow colored suit)!!! 🌈 I ran to get the shot (@yutsai88 you are the BEST) and here’s the magic that happened.”
