Christen Harper and Jared Goff Share Sweet Sidelines Moment, Celebrate Historic Win for Lions

The NFL quarterback sealed the deal for the victory on Sunday night, and the crowd went wild.

Christen Harper and Jared Goff just shared the sweetest sidelines kiss following the Detroit Lions’ historic win on Sunday evening. The NFL quarterback and his team won their first playoff game in 32 years in the wild-card round, and the entire crowd went wild, celebrating the 24-23 defeat of the Los Angeles Rams.

The three-time SI Swimsuit model posed the adorable video on Instagram for her 517,000 followers. Goff, 29, ran over to Harper, 30, as the audience chanted his name repeatedly. The couple, who got engaged in June 2022 after meeting on dating app Raya, hugged tightly and shared a few quick kisses.

The Southern California native donned a super cool black leather jacket with “Lions” and an animal decal embroidered on the back in a funky font. The swimwear designer paired the custom number with black leather jeans.

“It was always Detroit 🤍,” the Swim Search open casting call co-winner captioned the video.

“Sobbing!!!! So happy❤️,” co-Rookie of 2022 and bff Katie Austin, who also attended the game in support of Goff with her fiancé Lane Armstrong, commented.

“insane !!! let’s gooo @jaredgoff !!!🎉 happy for you guys💙🏈,” fellow SI Swimsuit model Gabriella Halikas added.

“WHAT A NIGHT,” actor Taylor Lautner wrote.

Harper also shared the emotional clip on TikTok.

“Love seeing Goff get the love he deserves! To have an NFL stadium chant your name…chills!,” one fan gushed.

Goff, who threw the final pass that sealed the victory, chatted about the moment to ABC27.

“It means a whole lot to this city,” he said. “We knew what it meant when this season started to get into the playoffs and then to get this win. And, you know, it’s just the beginning for us. We’ve got some run left.”

The Lions are set to face off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Jan. 21.
