When it comes to career advice, we’ll always listen to whatever wisdom Academy Award-winning actress Reese Witherspoon chooses to dish out. The producer took to Instagram on Monday to impart some wisdom with her 29.8 million followers regarding actionable steps toward making your dreams come true.

Witherspoon prefaced her statement by sharing that she recently received this tip from someone and wanted to pass it along.

“Do not wait around for the phone to ring for someone to make your dreams come true,” The Morning Show star stated. “You have to do something literally every single day to push your dreams forward. No one is thinking about what you wanna do or how you wanna do it or what the mark in the world that you wanna make is. That’s up to you. So you have to actually do something to make it happen.”

Witherspoon further urged her followers in her caption, “Do one thing TODAY that moves you closer to your goal. Right now. Ok? ✅.” Plenty of her fans expressed their gratitude for the dose of motivation in the comments section.
