Coco Jones Announces Engagement to Donovan Mitchell With Sweetest IG Photo

It’s official: Coco Jones and Donovan Mitchell are engaged!

The R&B singer surprised fans with the news on Friday by sharing a photo of the couple on her Instagram account without so much as a caption—but everyone was quick to spot a very large, very shiny ring on a very special finger.

In the sweet snapshot, the Grammy-winning artist wore a white tube-top style dress, serving up some serious bridal vibes, which proved to be excellent foreshadowing for the moment to come. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers player matched his bride-to-be in a checkerboard black and white collared shirt and shorts. The two shared a kiss while bathed in sunlight, with Jones’s left hand relaxed on Mitchell’s chest to give everyone a glimpse of the gorgeous engagement ring.

“After an amazing season and a sold-out tour, Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones took a moment to recharge on vacation, which turned it into a beautiful engagement,” the couple shared in a joint statement to PEOPLE.

But the basketball superstar wasn’t about to let his fiancée have all the fun on the social media app, as he also shared the same snapshot to his own feed alongside an aerial video of the moment itself, giving fans a literal birdseye view of the special occasion.

In the clip, the pair—who have been dating for two years, per PEOPLE—could be seen walking around a luxurious-looking pool beneath swaying palm trees before Mitchell stopped and turned to Jones, holding her hands and getting down on one knee to pop the all-important question. Jones said “Yes” as a stealthy photographer caught a few candid photos of the two. They shared an excited embrace as Mitchell slipped the ring on her finger.
