Pamela Anderson Embraces Natural Beauty on Latest Magazine Cover

The actress just published her memoir, ‘Love, Pamela.’

Pamela Anderson has proven for decades that she can rock a red carpet and a full face of makeup. Now, the 55-year-old is posing natural and bare faced on the cover of Women’s Wear Daily.

“I really feel powerful right now when everything’s very pared down,” she said in her Feb. 9 WWD profile. “I like to see my freckles. I like when my hair isn’t done. I don’t like those injections, and that doesn’t work on me. I feel like now I can put on a beautiful silk blouse and some trousers, and always a heel, and just with nothing on my face, and just let my hair dry after I get out of the shower and sleep on it. That’s my favorite. That’s my look. And I feel like that is a power statement because I’m accepting myself a lot more these days, and it feels great.”

Anderson just returned from a coast-to-coast tour promoting her memoir Love, Pamela and Netflix documentary, Pamela, a love story.

She wore a thin tiara and let her freckles shine in the WWD cover photo.

“Thank you for having me @wwd 🤍,” Anderson captioned an Instagram post showing off her feature. She tagged photographer Heather Hazzan.

The Baywatch star noted that being able to finally tell her story was her greatest achievement. She added that it was terrifying to be so vulnerable, knowing that she couldn’t please everyone.

“I didn’t know if people were going to take it seriously, or just think it was ridiculous, or self-serving, or just another celebrity talking about herself,” she explained. “I thought it’s my Hail Mary. I’m just going to sort of do what I did where I landed in L.A., just roll off the cliff and see what happens. Sink or swim, fly, or whatever. I’m in that state right now where it’s very mysterious. I don’t know what’s happening. There’s things percolating, but I’m just kind of taking a breath right now.”

Anderson shared a stunning series of snaps from the magazine photo shoot on Instagram. In the first pic, she wore a soft gray gown with cut-outs, and in the second click, she sported a yellow high-neck maxi dress with fringe detailing down the center. Her blonde locks were worn loose and natural.

“It’s fun getting old. It’s a relief,” she captioned the carousel post. “And at a certain age we just look younger and fresher without make up. This is me—I’m happy with who I am right now. It’s a new world and I’m very grateful for all of the love.”
