Are Jessica Alba and Danny Ramirez More Than a Summer Fling? Insider Says...

The pair began sparking romance rumors earlier in the summer, and a source just provided an update on where they stand.

Actors Jessica Alba and Danny Ramirez are one of the many unexpected celebrity couples to form this year. The pair, who first sparked rumors in July when going on a Cancun trip together, have not spoken out publicly about their relationship. But with more and more sightings—including a makeout session in Los Angeles—fans are desperate to figure out where they stand.

Multiple appearances hint that Alba and Ramirez could be getting serious, but the latest update from Us Weekly suggests they’re still in the casual stage.

“Jessica feels renewed in this new chapter,” says an insider. “She is very happy working on new projects and casually dating Danny. Her and Danny are having a lot of fun, and it’s light.”

“Between work and the kids, she is very busy right now,” the same source adds.

Earlier in the month, the Trigger Warning actress, 44, and the Last of Us actor, 32, proved they were still seeing each other when being photographed leaving a hotel in New York City together.

This latest insider scoop is not much different from what we’ve heard before. In July, Us Weekly reported that they were keeping things “low-key.”

“They were friends before it turned romantic,” a source spilled last month. “Jessica is still keeping things casual.”

While Alba and Ramirez are spending more time together, their relationship could very well still serve as a summer fling as the mom of three enjoys her new chapter in post-married life. She filed for divorce from husband Cash Warren in February, and both parties seem to be having fun with new people as they figure out their new lives.

For Warren’s part, the producer, 46, has been dating a model-actress named Hana Sun Doerr, 25, having been seen out together multiple times this summer.

TMZ caught up with Warren last month, where he shared his thoughts on Alba’s budding romance. “I’m happy for her. I don’t know him, but he seems like a good guy,” he stated of Ramirez.

Alba and Warren were married for 16 years and share three kids: Honor, Haven and Hayes. This month, the actress chatted with Extra in promotion of her show Honest Renovations alongside Lizzy Mathis, where she touched on her new “season” of life.

“I think everybody can relate to, you try to plan so much, especially as a mom, you’re always trying to plan, plan, and control things,” Alba shared. “And I think you just realize, especially as time goes by, that what’s meant for you is actually what’s going to show up and what’s going to happen.”

“Sometimes, you just have to let life happen and enjoy yourself and things will fall into place,” she added.

It’s always possible that Alba and Ramirez could get serious in the future, but for now, they’re reportedly just not there yet.
