Another day, another fun Katie Austin recipe. The SI Swimsuit model shared a reel on how to make a Valentine’s Day drink that gets the job done and is totally Instagram-worthy.

“The perfect cocktail to make for Valentine’s Day 💕 whether or not I’m in a relationship-I’ve alwayssss loved the holiday,” she captioned the Jan. 29 post. “It’s a fun time to celebrate love with your girlfriends, spouse, parents, be cheesy and wear pink, and tell everyone you love you love them! I host galentines day every year and I will definitely be making these Vday aperol martinis! More Valentine’s Day recipes coming soon!!!!!💘💘💘.”

The recipe yields two drinks and calls for the following ingredients:

  • 3 shots of alcohol of your choice (Austin likes vodka, while her boyfriend, Lane Armstrong, prefers gin)
  • 1.5 shots of Aperol
  • The juice of half of a lemon
  • 1 tsp. of agave or simple syrup (Austin shared that you can customize this amount to reach your desired sweetness)
  • 1 egg white
  • Ice

Austin added all the ingredients to a mixer and shook it around to create some froth. She then poured the drink into two martini glasses and garnished them with pink gummy candy rings.

“If you’re looking to make a really cute Valentine’s Day drink for date night, or for girls night for a Galentine’s Day, I got you guys,” she said in the reel. “Don’t forget the froth. It is so frickin’ good, you guys.”

Austin and Armstrong have been together since 2020, when they met on The League dating app.
