July is all about self-care for SI Swimsuit, and this month your favorite models will share their best self-care tips. We’ll delve deep into the specific self-care routines of various models and Swimsuit community members so you can learn about the products and techniques they use to take care of themselves both physically and mentally. Get inspired by these SI Swimsuit models and prioritize your self-care routine with tips from the pros.

As a three-time SI Swimsuit model and fitness influencer, Katie Austin understands what it’s like to be constantly on the go, for both work and play. Whether she’s touching down in Florida for a mere 24 hours for Miami Swim Week or exploring Italy with her fiancé, Lane Armstrong, Austin is often traveling.

While the 29-year-old admits that it’s difficult to prioritize self-care while on the go, she adapts her usual wellness routine to allow for flexibility. We caught up with Austin at the W South Beach on July 7 to learn more, and the health coach shares that even the slightest bit of movement helps her feel grounded while she’s away from home.

“Having just like 15 minutes in the morning of some movement, I think that can really help my anxiety...,” Austin explains. “I know that you should have no food guilt and enjoy your life, but [some movement] makes me feel like I can just enjoy my life a little more and with a good attitude.”

The Katie Austin App offers more than 250 home workouts, from total-body exercises to cardio and Pilates moves, many of which are 10 to 15 minute equipment-free sessions that are perfect for travel.

“Movement obviously helps your attitude and your mental health as well, so it’s not only good for your physical health, but your mental health,” Austin adds.

As for the guilt-free meals she mentioned above, Austin’s app and social media feeds are full of healthified recipes, from creamy BLT pasta salads and pesto chicken Cesar wraps, that are for packing up and taking along on your next beach picnic getaway.

In June, Austin divulged her suggestions for gently getting back into your normal wellness routine after traveling. She cited drinking lots of water, adding nutrients to your diet, incorporating 20 minutes of movement and going to bed early as keys for getting back into the swing of things.
