Grace Van Patten, Jackson White Cuddle Up at ’The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox’ Premiere
A duo of episodes for The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox dropped on Hulu yesterday, and its leading lady, Grace Van Patten, rang in her newest feat in the Big Apple, accompanied by longtime boyfriend Jackson White.
Just 24 hours before the first couple of episodes were released on Aug. 20, the couple attended the series premiere together in New York City. Van Patten arrived in a strapless black mini dress from Prada, adorned with fringe detailing and a bow in its center. She paired the garment with black close-toed pumps and jewelry from Cartier. Meanwhile, White wore a gray suit jacket over a white button-up and a black tie to match his black slacks.
Van Patten, who plays Amanda Knox in the series, posted a few frames from the celebratory night on her Instagram account alongside a caption expressing her gratitude for her castmates and team. “So in awe of every single person involved in the process of making this show,” the leading lady penned. “Thank you to everyone who worked with such passion and commitment and thank you Amanda for trusting me.”
Fans of the 28-year-old expressed their love for her newest project in the comment section. “Going to watch tonight, gotta support GVP!” one user penned. “Anything you’re in, I will be watching,” another commenter wrote. “Watched it last night, it's so good,” a fan exclaimed.
The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox marks Van Patten’s latest series with Hulu, and fans are eagerly waiting for her and White to reunite onscreen again. In fact, it was while the pair were auditioning for the Hulu show Tell Me Lies, which White and Van Patten now co-star on, that their love story began, per ELLE. The show’s third season was renewed in December, but there is no information on a slated release date yet.
On working with her boyfriend, Van Patten told Only Natural Diamonds, “I have never felt so safe and comfortable [...] We work so well together, and I love working with him—not just because he’s my boyfriend but because he’s so talented and giving and present.”
On Tuesday, Van Patten also provided some major insight into the show’s upcoming season, as she and White step into their roles as Lucy Albright and Stephen Demarco. “It’s gonna be crazy,” she disclosed to E! News. “It feels like the peak of all these young people’s worst decisions.”
